A Lil' Bit About Me:

I gravitate towards interaction design, research, crafting invigorating stories, emerging technologies, and exercising curiosity within the world.

I have always loved traveling for adventure's sake and while I currently live in Seattle, WA, I have also lived in San Francisco and Oakland (CA), Portland (OR), Austin (TX), and Bloomington (IN). I love skateboarding, my two cats, gardening, and keeping my hands and mind busy.

Directed Research:

Since March 2019, I have worked within a faculty led research group investigating how data from connected devices is present in people’s homes. Topics include current usage of data, accessibility to raw data, and imagining new opportunities for engagement. We are currently prototyping three tangible devices to further explore intentional data experiences within homes.

Books that inspire me:

just finished_ Staying With the Trouble by Donna Haraway

currently reading_ Critical Fabulations by Daniela Rosner

up next_ Discursive Design by Bruce M. Tharp, Stephanie M. Tharp
